Installed a lightning protection system
Lightning Protection Ireland was contacted by management at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow to carry out an annual test and inspection of the Phase One building. Following this, Lightning Protection Ireland was contracted to install a lightning protection system.
Due to restrictions concerning glazing and access, a traditional IS EN 62305:2011 system was not possible. After careful consideration, an ESE (Early Streamer Emission) system was purposed for installation on the new build, known as Phase Two. This was installed and signed off in accordance with standard NFC 17 102.
